My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ashe is a 9 week old puppy whose momma and siblings came to us from a rural shelter with more dogs than adopters. They have been raised in a loving foster home and are now ready to find their forever homes!

Their momma is a medium sized beagle mix but do not know who their father may be. Therefore, we expect them to be medium to large in size. We do know that they are full of love and ready to bring adventure to your family! For all of our dogs, we are looking for furEVER homes who are ready to provide love, stability, and a commitment to care for them for their rest of their lives. They'll pay you back with years of companionship and devotion!

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
