Penny is 5 years old and was born sometime in the month of May 2019. She was found on the streets of CT and we adopted her from a rescue. We have loved having Penny in our home these past 5 years. Within the last couple of years Penny has been having GI issues with chronic diarrhea. She's undergone blood work, parasite testing and put on a Rx food. All testing revealed no issues. We kept her on the food for quite some time, but it didn't make much of a difference, so she's back on a non rx food for a sensitive stomach. The vet discussed the possibility of doing further testing and trying other types of rx foods, although our budget does not allow it at this time.
Penny still has diarrhea, and sometimes goes outside the litter box. She needs a home that can afford further testing, as well as the potential of trying different diets or medications to ease her stomach discomfort.
We will absolutely miss her!! She is such a sweet, loving, friendly cuddly cat.
