Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Fudd is a handsome 3-year old male Beagle mix who was brought to the HSOV on January 23, 2025 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who picked him up on State Route 676 in the Vincent Ohio area. Fudd was accompanied by a younger Beagle mix named Elmer. Neither of the boys were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Perhaps Elmer and Fudd were on an adventure looking for "that wabbit" (Bugs Bunny)?
Fudd has a white short smooth coat, a long tail, a tan spot on the top of his head, and an adorable face with expressive brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, a slender muzzle, and extra-large tan-and-white floppy ears which frame his beautiful face. Fudd appears to have a cherry eye condition in his right eye.
From the looks of his super-sized ears, Fudd may have possible Basset Hound ancestors in his family tree.
Fudd seems to have a gentle, easygoing personality.
Fudd weighs 24.5 lbs.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Fudd will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
We apologize for the photos in his floor crate and will hopefully have an opportunity to take more flattering pictures soon.
