My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Cry Baby came to us as a medical case from a fellow rescuer.  She was found by a young boy on the streets and it seems as though she may have suffered some trauma.  The following days caused her to have a seizure that left her in the ICU at a local veterinarian.  As she improved it was necessary to continue monitoring her so she came to stay with us at ECAS.  Cry Baby has made a full recovery and no signs of any other seizure activity or issues from her trauma.  She has shown us that she is a sweet, gentle, affectionate and fun-loving little girl that is always eager for pets or to be picked up.  She has incredibly soft fur as well.  She was born December of 2021. She is spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
