This helps Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue with pet care costs.
Nate is a fun-loving, affectionate, pup. He loves zooming around the backyard with his brother. He is eager to please and a fast learner. With a little training, he will make an excellent addition to your family.
Personality: Nate is friendly, laid back and loves attention and affection. He's a cuddle buddy when he's just relaxing.
Energy level: Nate has a high energy level. He loves to play and explore. He's calm when it's time to relax' and he bursts with energy when it's playtime.
New People: Nate takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He will bark at them at first.
Children: Nate is a little standoffish and will take some time to warm up.
Other dogs: Nate seems to get along with other dogs if introduced slowly.
Food/Treat Removal: Nate is highly food motivated and will need a little training in this area. He feels like he's competing with his brother for food, so gets very excited when it's time to eat.
Leash manners: Nate loves his walks but will pull some of the time to keep up with his brother. Sometimes he will bark if he sees another dog or a person while on his walk. Work in progress.
Potty training: Nate is doing excellent with his potty training. He learned how to use the doggie door the first day and comes to the back door when called (also knows he'll get a treat). No accidents.
Crate training: Nate does great in his crate. He sleeps through the night.
