Meet Machu Picchu, a beautiful tabby girl with a sweet white face and a gentle spirit. Shy and timid in new environments, she takes time to warm up but secretly loves to play when no one is watching. Having another animal friend in the home will help her build confidence and feel more secure. Machu needs a patient adopter willing to work with her on socialization, but her calm and loving nature will make the effort worthwhile. With time, love, and understanding, she will blossom into a wonderful companion and a cherished member of the family. She has a heart murmur, but it doesn’t affect her daily life—just regular vet checkups will keep her happy and healthy for years to come! Machu Picchu is FIV/FeLV negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed. Her birthday is estimated to be around 9/17/2017.

Interview

We'll have a conversation to find out what kind of pet you are looking for and help you pick someone who will fit with your lifestyle.

3.
Meet the Pet

By-appointment and virtual meet and greets are made with our adoption counselors to meet the cat(s) you are interested in.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We go over medical information and the adoption contract. The contract is signed virtually or in-person.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Set up everything at home, and bring the adoption donation and a carrier - it's adoption day!

Milltown Adoption Center is open to the public Wed + Fri from 5 - 7 and Sat + Sun from 12 - 4. Private appointments available for approved adopters.

The mission of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
