Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thurston is a shy sweet boy who loves his food. He follows his foster mom as she's putting his plate on the floor. He likes to play with his foster mom when she's tossing toys to chase. He is shy to greet you and needs some coaxing. He will let you pick him up, but he's hesitant to stay and cuddle. He is always gentle.
Thurston shares a foster home with 2 littermates, 4 other cats, and 2 dogs.
Do you have the patience and love to give this sweet boy?
Are you interested in adopting this cat or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application; however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.
Thanks for thinking adoption!
