My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sabrina!
Female
Estimated DOB: 9/13/24

Sabrina is an adorable 4-month-old boxer/pit mix with a heart full of sweetness and a playful spirit. She’s bursting with puppy energy and loves to wrestle and play with her foster family’s resident dog. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to snuggle up and nap on your lap, making her the perfect mix of playful and affectionate.

Sabrina is making great progress with potty training, having fewer accidents and starting to give cues when she needs to go outside. She’s also doing fantastic with crate training—she eagerly goes into her crate, waits for her treat, and sleeps through the night without any accidents.

She absolutely loves playing with other dogs, including her littermate and the resident cattle dog in her foster home. Sabrina is wonderful with kids, always gentle and snuggly. When it comes to cats, she’s curious but respectful, though her feline housemate tends to keep their distance.

Sabrina is starting to find her voice and may bark at things in the yard that startle her, but overall, she’s not a big barker. She’s a toy enthusiast and loves all the toys, whether it’s chasing, chewing, or carrying them around. While leash walking is still a work in progress, she’s eager to learn and improve every day.

She’s working on mastering her potty training and basic commands, and she already knows to sit patiently before meals. Sabrina is highly treat-motivated and loves all kinds of snacks, making training a fun and rewarding experience.

We can’t forget to brag about how Sabrina is a celebrity! She was featured on WGN as a pup in search of a forever home. You could have the chance to adopt a TV star!

With her playful personality, loving nature, and eagerness to learn, Sabrina is sure to bring joy to any home. If you’re looking for a cuddly, energetic, and sweet pup, Sabrina might just be your perfect match!

Adopters will be provided a voucher to cover the cost of her spay when age appropriate.
