My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl is such a good girl. She's going to make such an amazing family member to whoever adopts her. She is loving, smart and playful.
She's doggie door potty trained. She has full access to the entire house with all the doors closed. She goes in an out without any problems.
She is crate trained at night and does such a good job with it. She doesn't want you up at the crack of dawn. She will patiently sleep in until about 7 and then nicely ask to go potty.
She's adorable to watch play because shes still such a puppy. She plays just like a typical puppy. Pouncing and bouncing all around. Using her paws to bat at things like a cat 🥰 I seriously could spend hours watching her puppy play by herself 🥰🥰
She's patient and so loving to everyone. Shy at first but quickly warms up. She loves my kids (3&6yrs old). She will patiently let my youngest lay right next to her. She will happily act my daughter with love when we go to wake my daughter up in the morning. She is just a love bug.
And she's not very destructive for a puppy. As long as things are picked up and toys are available, she will consistently only go for her toys. Occasionally her puppy curiosity will get the best of her but for the most part she minds her manners. In fact, yesterday I left her out with my dogs unsupervised for 30 min while we dropped the kids off at school and came home to zero damage. I was so proud of her.

More about this rescue

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.

In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:

Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.

Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.

Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.

Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
