Are you looking for an only dog who will devote all their love and trust into you? A dog who wants nothing more than a warm bed and safe place to live out their golden years? Molly is a 13yr old, 17lb Lhaso Apso who came into care when her owner could not longer care for her. Molly had some difficult years prior to coming into foster but those are behind her now and she is looking for her final resting spot!

Molly is hearing and visually impaired which makes her frightened easily so Molly needs to be an only pet at this time. But these challenges do not stop Molly from enjoying life in her foster home! Molly just needs a patient and understanding adopter who will show her nothing but love and kindness for the rest of her years.

Molly does do well sleeping in her crate overnight but would prefer exploring the world with her owner(s) during the day. Molly is potty trained as long as she is kept on a consistent schedule. Even though Molly is a senior gal, she still gets around well and likes to take walks.

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
