My name is Kona!

Meet Kona 
 
Kona is a stunning German Shepherd Husky mix with a big heart and playful spirit. She’s a quick learner and eager to please, especially if treats are involved—rotiserre chicken is her favorite!  
Kona is a great companion for other dogs, as she’s calm and balanced around them, not overly hyper. She enjoys a good play session but also knows how to relax and take it easy around dogs that don’t want to play. 

That’s not to say she doesn’t have a playful side. When it’s playtime, Kona loves to do zooms around the backyard and chase after toys! Kona also has your classic puppy mischief side. She loves to “borrow” shoes or other treasures when you’re not looking, so you’ll want to keep an eye on this little trickster! She is fully crate trained and has no separation anxiety. She knows that her crate is her place to be calm and sleep. 

With training, Kona knows the following: sit, down, come (her recall is getting so good!!!), wait, and look. She is also great walking on leash and does well when dogs approach her - even if she’s on leash and other dogs are off leash!  
When it comes to people, Kona is sweet and welcoming. She absolutely lights up when meeting new people and is always ready to shower them with love and kisses. She loves to run between your legs and get head scratches. This sweet girl is looking for a family who will cherish her, continue her basic puppy training, and provide her with a loving home where she can thrive.
