My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiny Tina! 🐾

🐾 Tiny Tina is a shy and nervous girl who enjoys her alone time and may need a little patience to feel comfortable.

🐾 Once she gets to know you and trusts you, she becomes a sweet and affectionate cat who loves pets and attention.

🐾 She’s a gentle soul who appreciates a calm, peaceful environment where she can feel safe and secure.

🐾 Although she’s a bit shy at first, Tiny Tina is friendly and enjoys being around people once she’s comfortable.

🐾 She’ll blossom into a loving companion with the right amount of time, care, and understanding.

If you’re looking for a patient and sweet cat who will reward your kindness with love, Tiny Tina could be the perfect fit! 💖

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

More about this shelter

A one-of-a-kind animal welfare organization, Anderson Humane focuses on creating and supporting mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals. Current programming such as our Adoption Program, Military Veterans’ Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both. Future programs will be offered in partnership with human-service organizations throughout our community, maximizing impact and changing lives for the better.

Anderson Humane is a resource for pet owners, providing information and services to provide better care for their pets. Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
