My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andy and his sister Elsa are a bonded pair of kitties approx 11 months old. Both are good with loud noises, other cats, children, and dogs. Andy is the more playful. He's very loving, purrs the moment you pick him up, and loves burrowing under the covers with you. He enjoys all kinds of food, treats, and toys. Andy does sometimes plays a little rougher than his sister so would do best with a family with older kids.
Elsa has the sweetest personality very petite, gentle, loving and curious. Always wanting to be involved with what her people are doing. She's a lap cat and will climb up in your arms to be held giving kisses. She enjoys playing with her brother but tires out before he does and just wants to snuggle. Feel free to email us in regards to any pet you may be interested in! We encourage in-person meetings at the cat or kitten's foster home so you can see how they act in an environment they're comfortable in. We're very responsive and flexible with meeting times. Thank you for your interest!

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
