Meet Max & His Best Friend Lucy– A Dynamic Duo in Search of Their Forever Home!

Max and Lucy are a sweet, playful pair who are deeply attached to one another and would love to stay together in their new home. These well-behaved, house-trained, and potty-trained dogs are ready to join a family that can keep up with their energy and provide them with plenty of fun and adventure. They get along beautifully with small dogs, cats, and children—making them an ideal addition to a home with other pets or kids.

Max is a bit vocal during initial introductions but warms up quickly. Both dogs may be a little shy at first, but they mean no harm and are eager to build trust. They respond well to both verbal commands and hand gestures, such as “sit,” “wait,” “eat,” and “go,” and will thrive with consistent training. They do best when given structure, so a routine with scheduled meal times is a must. Max tends to gobble up his food quickly, so a set feeding routine is especially important.

Full of boundless energy, these two love running around and playing, so they’ll need an active home where they can burn off some of that enthusiasm.
