Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sonder is absolutely lovely to have around the house! After a long stay in the PACC Kitty ICU, Sonder was introduced into a foster home. He took 4 days to decompress and spent the majority of his time under the couch. However, by the 4th day he was clearly very curious about his foster parents, and began coming up to his humans for scratchies and love. Now having had him lived with us for a bit over a month, Sonder is a new boy who loves being around people who he trusts and staring at those he`s new to from a safe distance.
He is playful with toys and is curious and loves observing things -- whether that`s looking out the window or watching his foster family cook in the kitchen. He of course is obsessed with water faucets despite hating getting wet. Sonder still spooks very easily (especially if someone moves too quickly!) but he recovers just as easily! Even if he gets startled his trust remains and he absolutely loves getting hard scratchies and purrs constantly. Sonder uses his litter box well. He had a few pee accidents on his first day in foster because it`s scary in new places -- but since that first day he has only gone in his litter box. Sonder absolutely hates getting picked up but tolerated getting his nails clipped. He is VERY treat motivated and will come to you when he is wanting cuddles.
Sonder is medical for renal disease and has chronic URI and will need lifelong medication. This boy is looking for that special home to provide him care, please consider him today.
