Hi there! I’m Leela. I’m the sweetest little puppy ever who's looking for a furever home! I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being found in a laundry basket that had been dumped on the side of the highway during the devastating Los Angeles fires of January, 2025. Now that I’m safe in a foster home, my burn injuries have healed, and I've been growing healthy and strong! I'm affectionate, silly, cuddly, and playful. While I love all animals that I meet, I love people the most! I'd pick cuddle time with a human over playtime with my pup siblings any day! But... I do loooove to play, in typical puppy fashion! I can be very curious and independent at times, but I never wander too far, as my favorite spot is snuggled up in someone's lap. My nose looks a little bit different from the burn injuries that a sustained at just 5 days old, but everyone says that just makes me extra cute! I'll make such an amazing companion for my adopter-- could that be you?
My location: LOS ANGELES, CA
*Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.*
*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above!*
If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/
Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org.
