Meet Hachiko, the Heartbreaking and Handsome German Shepherd Looking for a Second Chance!
Hachiko is a gorgeous 75-pound German Shepherd, just under two years old, with a story that will tug at your heartstrings. Found wandering the streets, alone and scared, this sweet boy was brought to a local shelter. Day after day, he waited behind bars, hoping someone would come for him—but no one ever did. Overcrowded and under-resourced, the shelter was no place for a dog like Hachiko. His spirit began to break, and it was clear he wouldn’t survive much longer.
Thankfully, Hachiko was given a lifeline. Now, he’s safe with us, and we’re determined to find him the loving forever home he deserves.

Smart and Trainable: Hachiko is a quick learner who is already house- and crate-trained. He’s eager to please and thrives with structure and positive reinforcement.

In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements. The adoption fee for this dog is $150 serving as a non-refundable donation. Adoption fees may vary based on factors such as vetting costs, transport, and age.
