Meet One-Way! She is an adorable 2-year-old tuxedo cat who loves wand toys and catnip. One-Way joined Ten Lives after a Good Samaritan found her hiding in a bush next to a highway onramp and brought her to Providence Animal Control. When we found out that she had been in the shelter since November, we knew we had to get her into our foster program.
One-Way is a sweet and affectionate feline who enjoys curling up next to her foster mom on the couch. She likes to get silly and chase her rainbow wand while running in and out of her tunnel. She also enjoys rolling around in catnip and tasty tube treats. One-Way enjoys gentle pets and brushing, but kindly requests that you avoid petting near her tail.
We think One-Way would make a perfect solo cat, but might do well with a low-key feline sibling after proper introductions. Right now, her feline foster siblings make her nervous! If you think One-Way might be a good match, please submit our adoption application!

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
