Hiya! My name is Nutmeg and I'm an adorable 5-week old Shepherd/Husky mix gal. I am located near Knoxville TN and will be available for transport at the end of February 2025.

Quick Facts:
Age - 5-weeks old
Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard
Kids - would do great with kids
Dogs - will do fine with all dogs
Cats - will do fine with cats
Training - will need full range of obedience training

1. I'm a Shusky! That is a mix of a German Shepherd & a Husky. You can see my parents in my pictures. My mom is a German Shepherd and my dad is a Husky.

2. Being a baby, I'll get along with anyone & everyone! Have kids, cats, horses, ducks, or other dogs? Great! I'll learn to interact just fine.

3. When I'm a bit bigger, will you paw-promise to train me?! I know I'll be super smart and learn all sorts of obedience commands.

4. Since I'm just a little pupper, I am not house or crate trained. It will take some time and patience to teach and for me to learn but I know I'll get it!

5. If you are ready to commit to 10-15 years of love, laughter, adventures, and sloppy kisses - I'm your gal!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
