My name is Slim Jim (Foster in Treatment in PR)!

Feb 4, 2025:  Slim Jim was neutered.

Jan 27, 2025:  Slim Jim is putting on weight and scheduled for neutering on Feb 4th.  He is being treated for heartworm.

Jan 24, 2025: Slim Jim is heartworm positive.

Jan 11, 2025:  Slim Jim has much improved since the beginning of the year.  As you can see from two before/after photos, he is putting on some weight.  He is a sweet and loving dog; very appreciative of anything you do.  He is good with other dogs.  Took him 2 days to join the Foster home pack.  His first reaction is to retreat and hide with any confrontation.  He quietly but slowly with no jumping will approach you for love and petting.  Would calculate his energy level to be low to moderate. 

Jan 3, 2025:  Slim Jim was rescued today; poor boy was picked up from along a busy roadway foraging for food.  He is quite skinny and estimated to be about one year old.  In process of setting up Vet appointment.
