Meet Archie! Archie is a loving, curious, sweet, and spunky Chihuahua-Terrier mix. He is around a year old and weighs 10lbs. He is long and lean, with a soft red-brown coat and white chest. Archie is a loyal companion and is happiest when near his people. He loves to cuddle in a lap, on the couch, or under the covers in bed. Archie has moderate activity needs, enjoys daily walks, and is good on the leash. He is friendly to people of all ages and meets new people easily. He is especially loving, giving kisses and enthusiastic tail wags! He is calm around other household dogs and has not shown signs of food guarding or aggression. Archie is learning to play with his foster siblings and really enjoys playing chase with his Chiweenie foster brother. He is completely neutral to cats and will not mind them curling up next to him. He has shown a protective streak, barking when strangers come to the door and at unfamiliar dogs that he sees on walks, and he is getting better about that with training. He is intelligent and curious and learns quickly. Archie doesn't like to be left alone, so he would be an excellent sidekick to someone who would like a buddy to keep around throughout the day. Or if his people do leave during the day, it would be better for him to have other dogs in the house as companions which seems to put him at ease. He does great in the car and enjoys running errands. He also seems to love getting dressed! Archie is a great all-around small companion, easy to love, and full of joy!
