* If Other, please specify : She looks like a Norwegian forest cat, but is way to small for that title
Colour/Pattern : Grey/beige and black stripes
Date of Birth (if known):
My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Loves watching nature shows on TV, cuddles in the bathroom, and sleeping on your bed.
My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Skittish, homelife is new to her. She does not like loud noises, or sudden movements
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): Play toys, scratch tower, another cat
Good with cats?: Yes
Good with dogs?: Tolerates
Good with children?: No
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes
Temperament: Mix of needy and independent
Ideal type of household?: Medium activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few weeks
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: This cat was likely born feral, and never around humans until she was caught in August 2024 with a litter of kittens. Everyday she shows her appreciation for a warm place with food and toys. She was very slow to come around, but the rewards of her affection and trust are heart-warming and wonderful. She does play a little rough, I do not recommend a house with children under 12 yrs old.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): I don`t think Nadine drinks enough water. This could cause urinary tract issues in the future. I have resorted to a wet food diet, that I often mix with extra water, I also put fresh water in 3 places, away from her food. She might benefit/increase water intake with a fountain. She will not drink water in the same room as her food.
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Long Hair

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
