My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, Lush here! I have been here for a little bit at CHS and the staff have gotten to know me as one of the sweetest little ladies around! While I love my wet food, I love getting pets even more and I'll let you know with some purrs and headbutts! If you're interested in having an excellent kitty companion such as myself, stop by our shelter during adoption hours or submit an adoption application for me online!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You are welcome to visit the animals in residence with us on a walk-in basis Tuesday through Saturday 12AM to 4PM. Sunday meetings are by appointment only. We are closed on Mondays. Please feel free to call or email for an appointment to meet our adoptable pets.

We pride ourselves on offering one-on-one private adoption counseling. Once you have completed your adoption application (online) an adoption counselor will contact you for a private interview.

Our adoption fees and requirements vary based on each individual animal's needs. We work hand-in-hand with our adoption clients and hand-in-paw with our pets to make the best adoption matches.

In spite of our efforts, we understand that sometimes relationships fail. If at any time an adopter needs assistance with their new family member or finds it necessary to return their companion animal, we will respectfully work with that client to determine the best outcome for the animal.
