THOR IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IA.

Thor is an adorable 12-month-old Shepherd-Collie mix ready to bring joy and companionship into your life! Rescued from a ditch alongside his siblings, Thor owes his safe arrival to the kindness of one of our dedicated Texas fosters. We’re incredibly grateful for their commitment, which helped him avoid the dangers of traffic and harsh weather.

This affectionate love bug has a heart full of warmth and is sure to steal yours. Thor gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him the perfect playmate for your furry friends. His playful energy is infectious—whether it’s a game of fetch or a spirited chase in the backyard, Thor is always ready for an adventure! Well-behaved in his crate and fully house-trained, Thor will communicate his needs with a little whine, letting you know when it’s time to go outside. He would thrive best in a home without cats. With his energy and loving personality, Thor is eager to find his forever home where he can continue to spread joy and excitement

Thor is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you’re interested in giving Thor his forever home, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering this sweet pup!

We do not have a physical facility and rely on the generosity of foster homes to care for our animals until they are ready for adoption. Each month we transport dogs and cats from Texas to Iowa. Following the "Freedom Ride," we hold adoption events at local businesses and parks. Visit our website https://easttexashoofandpawrescue.org/events or our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/EastTexasHoofandPaw to see upcoming adoption events.
