Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Winnie! She is one of three sisters rescued during TNR this October. She loves to play and is full of mischief. She loves playing with her siblings and some of the older cats here at the rescue but is also very affectionate. She loves to snuggle in bed or on the couch for some quality time, and particularly loves her ears rubbed!
Winnie has met some dogs. We've had two stay with us for just over a week, and she was very good with them, often trying to play with the dog's tails. As long as the dog is good with cats, I think she would do well in a household with a dog. She also loves to play with children, although she isn't a big fan of being picked up (she has good boundaries). She would do best in a home with another playmate - and priority will be given to anyone wanting to adopt her and one of her sisters (please see Mary or Sarah Sanderson)
Winnie is a huge fan of sticks and anything stick-shaped. She often steals my toothbrush if it's not properly secured and she's run out of more convenient stick-like alternatives. We like to keep a jar of sticks available for her to help herself, which minimizes toothbrush theft.
She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. More pictures and information can be found on our Instagram @hopegardenscatrescue
What our adoption fee covers: Our adoption fee covers the cost to spay/neuter each cat. Each rescue kitten costs a minimum of $225.00 to vaccinate and sterilize. Almost all of our cats and kittens require additional medical care due to parasites or other general health concerns prior to adoption since they have all been rescued from less-than-ideal conditions. Veterinary care can be expensive, and we want to ensure our adopters are aware of what the cost of ownership is, as well as what their adoption fees pay for.

More about this rescue
We are a small cat rescue in north nashville that primarily focuses on feral cats. Our mission is to provide spay/neuter and vaccinations to as many stray and feral cats as we can. However, in this process we often come across litters of kittens who can be socialized and adopted as loving household pets. When this is possible we do everything in our power to ensure the best life possible for these little fur balls.
