Penelope is a sweet, gentle girl who has had a challenging start in life, but she’s slowly learning to trust and bloom in her foster home. She’s formed a strong bond with her foster mom, but she’s still a bit unsure around new people. Penelope is looking for a quiet, thoughtful home where she can continue to build her confidence and feel safe as she adjusts to her new life.
This sensitive girl would thrive in a calm environment where she can take her time to settle in. She would likely do best in a home without children, as she is more comfortable in a peaceful and predictable setting. With patience, love, and understanding, Penelope has the potential to become an affectionate and loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs a little time to trust, Penelope may be the perfect fit for you.

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty.
In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people.
