My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Nevada first came to the shelter, she was shy and uncertain, but in her foster home in the Carolinas she blossomed into an affectionate, loving companion who’s eager to share her gentle heart. Now she’s arrived in PA and is ready for her furever home!

Nevada thrives on human attention and is happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up all the love she can. She’s not only sweet and easygoing, but she’s got a playful side too – ready to bring a bit of fun into your day!

Nevada is great with other dogs, house and crate trained, and has a mellow spirit that’s perfect for a peaceful home. She's settled right into her foster home in PA, where she arrived on 2/8/25, and has made fast friends with the resident Mostly Muttz alum. She knows her basic commands and loves all the praise she gets for her good manners!

Nevada is being fostered in Chester Springs (Chester County), PA and is ready to settle into her furever just as soon as they find her!

Note: Nevada is currently being treated for heartworms. Please do not let this scare you away. Heartworm is not contagious and is curable. For more information on Heartworm, how we treat it and what it means for an adopter, please email mostlymuttz@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves at least a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the entirety of their life. At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
