Don’t sell your dreams so soon, Mary Kate! A forever home is in your future!
Mary Kate the cat arrived at EHS, along with her sister Ashley (duh!), after being surrendered by their previous owner, who could no longer care for them. Now settled into a loving foster home, these sisters are looking forward to starring in their next season.
ABOUT MARY KATE: -In foster -Young, domestic shorthair, female -Mary Kate loves humans and is an affectionate cat. -She is friendly and enjoys pets and being picked up, but can be shy around strangers and usually hides at first when visitors come by. She will state her boundaries with a gentle hiss until she feels comfortable. -Mary Kate loves to play and gallops like a horse when she has bursts of energy. -She can be differentiated from her sister because she is pure gray, while Ashley has tabby stripes. -Mary Kate has been diagnosed with low grade heart disease. She has no symptoms and her prognosis is good; however, she is on a daily medication to protect her heart and will need to be monitored annually with cardiac imaging to ensure all is well. -Mary Kate is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
MARY KATE’S IDEAL HOME: -Mary Kate gets along with other cats. -While not considered bonded to her sister Ashley, the girls get along well and could be adopted together if you’re looking for a “Full House!” -We are unsure of Mary Kate’s history with dogs or children, but given her affectionate nature, a family home would likely suit her well. Stay tuned: a visit with children at her foster home is scheduled.
Will you be the one to make Mary Kate’s dreams come true? “Puh-lease” schedule a meet and greet with this little starlet!
