Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
12-year-old Suki was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her mom passed away.
Prior to her mom's illness, Suki enjoyed playing fetch and going for walks around the neighborhood. They were devoted companions, and Suki always slept in bed alongside her.
Suki enjoys going our weekly FFF group hikes and has great leash manners - no pulling or barking by this sweetheart! As you can see the videos, Suki loves being petted and having her chin rubbed. She gives gentle kisses, too!
Suki went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what she is like in a home. She earned a rave review from her Fling Family!
"Suki is the sweetest soul and did great with my kids who live in the home with us and every human that she encountered on walks and anywhere else. She just loves to get pets and have attention lavished on her.
Suki really looked forward to her daily walks. Since we do not have a fenced in backyard, she did not get to hang out there as much as we wanted. But her previous family had a fenced in backyard that I am told she liked to lay in when the weather was nice. She does like to play fetch with tennis balls and could easily walk for at least 30 minutes at one time!
Suki had no issues and behaved really well with my Chihuahua who is the same age as her. On walks, she was never reactive to other dogs who were passing by. We only had one incident where she lunged at another dog that was coming towards her when we were at a winery. Not sure if she was being aggressive or playful, but she should be introduced to bigger, more active dogs slowly.
Suki is potty trained and would walk to the back door or get kind of frantic in case if she had to go to the bathroom. She could hold it for 6 to 8 hours during the night no problem. Her previous family had a doggie door that she used with a fenced in backyard so she could go to the bathroom whenever needed. Since we did not have that, we took her out about every six hours or if she acted like she had to go.
Suki is such a sweetheart! Whoever adopts her will just absolutely fall in love with her!"
Suki is back on-site and ready for a forever home. To meet her, please drop by between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week!
