Ellie’s story started in Clayton County, where she was sadly abandoned in a neighborhood. An older gentleman found her struggling to care for her litter of kittens under a bush, but heartbreakingly, none of them survived. Feeling sorry for Ellie, he gave her shelter in his rented room, but strict management rules forced him to put her back outside during the day. Ellie was pregnant again when AWHAR stepped in to give her a chance at a better life.

Now, Ellie is fully vetted, spayed, and free from her days of suffering. She’s blossomed into a truly perfect companion who’s ready to be someone’s loyal and loving lap cat.
