Bella is an 11-month-old mystery mix with a heart full of love and a world of potential. While her breed is a surprise (DNA results coming soon!), Bella is smart, full of energy and eager to please. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, down, roll, and shake—and she’s thrilled to learn more!
Before being rescued, Bella spent two months in a shelter and was heartbreakingly placed on a kill list. But her story took a happy turn when a wonderful rescue organization stepped in to save her. She adjusted beautifully to life inside a foster home, sleeping peacefully in her crate for 6-7 hours at night without a peep. She’s also a respectful neighbor, doing her business only in her designated spot and never on someone else’s lawn.
Bella is still a puppy at heart, so she’s working on socializing, gaining confidence during walks, and curbing her excitement when meeting new people. These are minor adjustments for anyone familiar with training large pups. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she’s bound to excel with a committed family.
In the Car Bella is calm and quiet, and loves tagging along for adventures.
At the Vet: Bella’s gentle nature shines; she even fell asleep waiting for the vet!
At Home: She’s learning quickly and thriving in a loving environment.
With other dogs: Bella is timid at first when seeing other dogs but once she does she will play rough with them, so may do fine with larger dogs.
Bella would thrive with an active family with older children or a couple who can give her the structure, activity and love she deserves. Whether you enjoy hiking, running, or simply spending time outdoors, She might enjoy having another medium to large dog to play with, but not smaller dogs.
Bella’s journey is just beginning, and she’s ready to make a lucky family complete. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and loyal pup to grow with, Bella is waiting to meet you. Could you be her forever family?

Additional adoption info
We try to recover our costs for rescuing dogs with adoption fees, and require the completion of an adoption application in order to be considered for one of our dogs. Additionally, we will need to complete a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe for the dog. At that time, we can set up a 1-2 week trial period to begin so you and the dog can get to know each other and know if this is a good fit for all of you.
