Say hello to our little Russell Sprout! Russell is about 7 months old, and he weighs about 10 pounds. This adorable black and white potato-shaped cutie has been with us for a few weeks now. When Russell arrived at the shelter, he came without the socialization and exposure to different experiences that most puppies get. So, we decided to give him some time in a foster home. There, he did well with another dog, he chased kitties and squirrels, and he finally began to relax and act like a puppy! It still takes Russell some time to get used to new people. He is still skittish when handled too quickly. But, we think at this point, in the right home - with adults who are patient and willing to take things slowly - Russell will continue to blossom into a very sweet (and probably a little mischievous) dog.
