Cheyanne is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to play with other dogs and is always ready to go outside and run. She's sweet and a fast learner who loves treats and is eager to please. She may be getting some gray on her face, but that doesn't slow her down at all. She enjoys meeting new people and is looking for a family to take her home and give her lots of love! Sometimes it takes her a little while to warm up to new dogs, but once she does, she's ready to go wild. Her silly, energetic personality is impossible to resist! Come meet Cheyanne today!

Visit us Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM! All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $45.00.

More about this shelter

The Chickasha Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Chickasha, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Chickasha and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public Spay and neuter program with OkHumane, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.

We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
