My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gimlet & Bramble are a pair of adorable, active brothers who love to play—especially with wand toys, springs, and tunnels! Bramble is the more adventurous of the two, always eager to explore and investigate everything. As the leader of the pair, he takes the lead in their fun, while Gimlet is happy to follow along. Bramble also enjoys a good lap cuddle and will jump up at the first opportunity when he sees a vacancy. Gimlet, though a bit shyer, is just as playful - he loves playing with random toys and will happily chase his own tail for long stretches of time. While he's timid, his curiosity keeps him close to the action, watching everything around him. One of Gimlet’s favourite pastimes is getting scratched—he just can't get enough of it! Both brothers are big fans of treats, and while Churus are their absolute favourite, they won’t pass up Temptations! Gimlet & Bramble get along well with other cats, but because Gimlet's can startle easily, they would do best in a home with older children or adults. Gimlet & Bramble are bonded and MUST be adopted together.

Rescued from life in a barn, Gimlet & Bramble have come a long way on their socialization journey. They are now ready to find their forever home! With a little patience and lots of treats, they'll quickly warm up to you and show you just how sweet and lovable they are.

Gimlet & Bramble will make wonderful additions to the right home - one that has the time and understanding to help them continue to build confidence. Keep your lap open, your treat jar stocked, and prepare to fall in love with these two sweet brothers!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
