Introducing Rajah, a petite tabby with a royal name, a dramatic flair for hiding under beds, and a heart of pure, melty gold—once you’ve earned her royal trust.

Rajah's motto? Stranger danger. Upon first meeting, she will vanish like a magician at a birthday party—poof! Just a tabby-colored blur and the faint sound of her feet skittering into the nearest safe space. Prospective adopters, please don’t take it personally. Rajah believes in taking relationships slow. She’s the Jane Austen heroine of the foster cat world: skeptical at first, then madly in love.

But give her time and Rajah will reveal her true form: a purring, biscuit-making, lap-warming shadow who wants nothing more than to curl up with you while you read, watch TV, or contemplate whether or not you really need to get up to pee.

Rajah is perfect for a patient human who understands that the best things in life take time—like sourdough, aged cheese, and shy cats who turn into Velcro love bugs. She’ll reward your patience with loyalty and snuggles.

All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.

We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.
