FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED: We rescued Chamomile, a senior feral cat, from the verge of death back in October. He was hunched, emaciated, unmoving, and struggling to breathe, with pus running from his ulcerated mouth. It took over a month to get him strong enough for the surgery he so desperately needed. Now, thanks to the amazing care of @theneighborhoodvet and @monroestreetcats, he’s ready to get out of the crate he’s been in for too long and find an indoor foster or permanent home. We think he’ll need some time to adjust to people, but he’s already accepting chin scratches. His ideal spot could be in a home with other cats who’ll fulfill your need for feline affection while he fulfills your need to nurture and care for an animal who truly needs you.
