My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Admiral, one of six puppies from our “Blue” litter. These 2-month-old Labrador Retriever mixes may have been named after the hints of blue in their eyes, but these puppies are anything but blue. These happy pups’ tails are always wagging!

After being dumped at a police officer’s home, the puppies were taken into foster homes at 5 weeks old, where they have been socializing with humans and adult dogs ever since. They are friendly and easygoing, and they love to snuggle! Their three different fosters all agree that they are some of the easiest puppies they’ve ever fostered.

Admiral is a sweet snuggly boy. He enjoys playtime with his foster brothers and sisters and then will settle in for a long nap on the couch. He is starting to play fetch, and with a little encouragement, he will bring the ball back to you.

Admiral and his littermates are all working on potty training and crate training, taking lots of naps throughout the day in their crates and going outside to potty when they wake up. They’re all off to a good start, but their forever families will likely need to continue the work to get them perfectly potty trained.

Admiral weighs 8 pounds at 2 months old, so we think he’ll likely be around 50 pounds when full grown. While it’s pretty obvious they are Labrador Retriever mixes, we think they may have some Catahoula Leopard dog in them as well based on the spotting pattern and blue-green eyes of one of the puppies. No matter the breed, these puppies are poised to be great additions to any family with enough time and love to nurture them!
