My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raven is the sweetest little black cat with a sad story. She was spotted outdoors with a horrible limp when a kind-hearted soul decided she needed some help and trapped her to have her examined by a vet. X-rays revealed her poor little body was riddled with bb bullets. That’s right, she had been shot multiple times. She also had fractures to her fibula and tibia in her right hind leg, indicating additional trauma. Sadly, her leg was beyond repair and needed to be amputated.

Raven is not only a survivor, but has retained the sweetest demeanor. We can’t imagine why anyone would have been so cruel to her, but we can promise that she will never be a victim to cruelty again. She is about 1-year old and is an affectionate, tolerant lap cat. She is laid back and enjoys cuddling more than playing. She loves other cats and is fine with cat-friendly dogs, too. She would be a great candidate for a home with gentle kids!

Raven has fully adjusted to life as a tripod and can jump, climb and get around perfectly well! She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and FIV/FelV tested negative.
