Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lisa – female, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, spayed, heartworm tested (-), dewormed, tx flea preventative, 1yr, ~15lbs, Terrier/Whippet type mix.
Lisa is a funny little mixed breed, she was surrendered as a Chihuahua/Pug mix…but we feel she is too energetic to be just that. Lisa is more like a Terrier/Whippet type mix – with Pug coloring. Aside from her fawn and black markings she has little to no actual Pug characteristics; her nose is longer like a Terrier or Whippet, she is fine boned and lean, her ears are floppy like maybe a Beagle? And her appearance over all is unique, slim and dainty. Lisa is super friendly, loves to meet new people and show off her speed in the fenced park area or back yard. She loves to play with other dogs – usually a good game of “chase me” or play wrestling but she can take a hint and leave a dog alone if they don’t want to play. Lisa loves attention from anyone willing to spend a little time with her. She is good with other dogs of all sizes, cats and respectful children of any age. Lisa is house trained and crate trained; she still sleeps in her crate at night and when left alone but would likely be fine given free roam – as long as she has had enough exercise each day. She is pretty good about coming when called (still in a securely fenced area) but doesn’t seem to know many other basic commands at this point. Lisa is calm, clean and quiet in the home after a good walk or run around the dog park. She enjoys getting out each day for some vigorous activity and is then ready to come home and cuddle or hang out. Lisa ideally needs at least a 45min brisk walk each day, the more the better. She would probably make a good jogging companion and biking or rollerblading in the warmer months. She also loves to “get her sillies out” at a fenced off leash park where she can whip around and out run most of the other dogs while she socializes. Lisa’s forever home should be active, willing to take her for a brisk walk or to the dog park each day and have a house with a fenced yard. Lisa would be fantastic for someone wanting to get her in to agility classes – she’s really quick on her feet and loves to show off for you! Please do not apply for Lisa if you are in an apartment.
