Chevelle is a 6-year-old Feist x Chihuahua mix who has been through a lot of changes recently but is ready to find a loving, stable forever home.

This sweet girl lived in a home her entire life, but due to her owner’s financial situation, she was sadly surrendered to a shelter in Southwest Virginia. When the shelter found themselves at capacity, they sent out an urgent plea, and that’s how Chevelle came to us. Her whole world has been turned upside down, going from a loving family to a county shelter and now to our rescue.

Chevelle is a gentle and loving dog who would thrive in a calm, stable home where she can feel safe and secure. She does great with families and is house-trained, though she may need a little refresher after all the changes she’s been through—but we’re confident she’ll pick it up quickly!

Chevelle is spayed, will be microchipped, and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. She will also be fully vaccinated soon and ready to start her new chapter.
