My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm, Cuddly, Curious

Wundershowzen is new to Austin and very ready to meet her new bestie! She is a well-traveled cat, spending her former years in Puerto Rico! After a hurricane and flooding, Wundershowzen made her way to Austin. She is not that fond of the ocean anyways! She can’t wait to get settled into her new home.

Wundershowzen is cautious at first and needs a little time to get to know you, then she's ready to show off her loving side! She takes a little time to warm up, but she is highly adaptable and just needs a little bit to start feeling at-home. Your patience will undoubtedly be rewarded with lots of love- something like a never-ending amount!

After the curiosity has settled, Wundershowzen will stay by your side and snuggle any chance she gets. Lazy days on the couch reading a good book or in bed bingeing on a new show make for Wundershowzen’s favorite days! She loves to curl up on and under blankets, or on a warm lap. CHIN SCRATCHES ALL DAY! She loves them and accepts them warmly. Wundershowzen can also occupy her own time if you are busy. She will explore her surroundings and check out all the neat places to hang out around the house.

Wundershowzen is comfortable around friendly dogs. She has the typical level of play and talks to you on occasion. She loves her Fancy Feast and Temptations cat treats! She is best suited for a very loving home with room to explore, snuggle, and play with her new owner. Contact us to set up a meet and greet with this gorgeous and sweet tabby wonder!

Wundershowzen has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often has a shorter lifespan. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Wundershowzen can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
