My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joy is a happy hound dog who was found starving with her friends Love, Peace, and Patience. Despite her rough start, Joy is always full of energy and loves everyone she meets!

Joy has an incredibly cheerful personality. Her bubbly nature is infectious, and she brings a sense of joy and positivity wherever she goes.

While Joy is not trained yet, she is eager to learn and please. We are working on her training, and with a bit of patience and consistency, she will surely get the hang of it. Her sweet and loving nature makes her easy to work with, and she is always ready for a cuddle or a play session.

Joy is a sweet and cheerful dog who will bring lots of happiness to her new family. Shes an absolute sweetheart who will fill your home with love and laughter. If youre looking for a loving and joyful companion, Joy is the perfect choice.

More about this rescue

Welcome to Wild Woods Rescue, a grassroots organization. Our mission is to provide loving homes for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We believe every dog deserves a happy life and work tirelessly to make that happen. We travel to Vermont five times a year, re-homing dogs along the way to reach a wider network of adopters. Our dogs are housed in spacious outdoor kennels, giving them room to play and relax. We screen all adopters to ensure safe, loving placements. Join us to adopt, volunteer, or support our cause. Be part of the Wild Woods Rescue family.
