Very social, loves to play with other dogs. Big sniffer, big runner, loves to chase other dogs but not particularly balls or fetch. Can be a little shy but not for long. Extremely sweet and happy temperament. Loves the beach and sand (but not the water), squeaky toys, puzzle feeders, chewing toys, and sun bathing. Snuggler and burrower, favorite spot to nap is by your feet under the covers.
Positive history with other dogs of ranging ages/energy levels. Has never been boarded or gone to daycare. No real experience with cats, would probably be scared of them if anything.
Has had some separation anxiety, does much better when left home alone with another dog(s). Crate training to enforce naps/overnight. Can be mildly destructive if left home alone outside of the crate (accidentally knocks things off table, chews any paper or plastic).
Ideal home: Multiple family members with someone present a good chunk of the day, at least one other younger dog. Previous training experience.
