Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brody came into rescue with his sister, Diamond (also listed). They were surrendered by their owner when they could no longer care for them. Both of the dogs are purebred French bulldogs and we were told that they just turned a year old. They are both very friendly and spunky, ready to go, playful pups. We have introduced them to our big dogs and also our small dogs and they show no signs of aggression towards anyone, male or female. They have also shown no signs of food aggression or guarding so far, which is great! They are friendly dogs so they should do well with children. We do not know how they would be with cats but they seem to be pretty amenable to most. A slow, proper introduction should ensure all goes well. Both of the dogs are crate trained but we never guarantee fully housebroken. They have shown great social skills and are just the cutest, inside and out! We feel that they will do great in pretty much any home environment. Because they are frenchies, they can be at risk for breathing problems and other breed specific issues so we recommend reading up on all of the potential pros and cons of owning a frenchie. Brody does have the noisy, "snorky" breathing and could probably stand to slim down a couple of pounds as hes pretty round. If you have always wanted one of these beautiful dogs but have not had a spare $3,000-$5,000 laying around, this might be your perfect opportunity to give a young, vibrant, healthy, and alreasy fully vetted frenchie a loving home for much less. You will also be helping many other rescue dogs in the process! Win-win!!
Brody saw the vet on 1/13/25 and was neutered and brought current on his yearly care. He weighed 26.5 pounds as of 1/13/25. He was heartworm negative but was fecal positive for hookworms. He was started on Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention and flea control and dewormed with Drontal plus for the hookworms. Brody was not found to have any medical issues on his exam. He is a sweet boy who will make a wonderful, spunky, snuggly and playful companion!
If interested in giving Brody his forever home, please submit your interest and your adoption application via email or text ONLY to 352-215-3260 (phone calls will not be answered or returned from this number).
We will be using FBRN as a
guide for the adoption fee so please contact us or google their adoption fee for a healthy frenchie under a year old to inquire about Brody's adoption fee. The adoption fee will help to cover the cost of his vetting and daily care while with us. We will only consider applicants who complete the adoption application and will determine whether the applicant would be a good fit for Brody based on the info provided in the application. If we feel that you will be a good match for him, we will set up a meet and greet appointment with you.
