My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous sweet duo are Winnie and Roo! They came into rescue when an abandoned litter was taken in. Their remaining siblings were adopted and these two, having been raised with minimal to no attention prior to coming into rescue, found themselves an absolutely incredible foster home who has taken them in and showered them with love!
These sweethearts are a little over 5 months old now and have had all of their medical work completed! They have had their vaccines, deworming microchipping, preventative and are spayed and neutered! They are healthy and blossoming!
In their foster home they’ve had lots of exposure to cats and have done wonderfully. They have also had lots of exposure to other dogs and they absolutely loooove other dogs. They would do great in a home with another dog as they instinctively follow the leader and have submissive personalities with all other pups.
They are excellent in the house and reliably go potty outside! Their house manners are excellent and they love their toys and are master snugglers!
In their forever home they are seeking nurturing, patient, easy going, loving parents who are seeking loving snuggly companions who will thrive as homebodies. They would love a fenced yard to run and play in, and also relax in during the warmer months.
They’ll be fabulous with any combination of animals and people. They just need parents who will give them grace through their adjustment and understand the world feels like such a big place to them and they will be timid and submissive at first. They’re the kind of pups who aren’t seeking dog parks or daycare or soccer games. Rather they’re seeking warm nights snuggled up on the sofa with their favorite people, and a peaceful country home where they can enjoy the breeze, nature, and be happy homebodies. They do great channeling their energy with each other outside in the yard and have been easy going puppy to relax with and love!
If these two gorgeous babies are the beautiful pair you’ve been longing for, and you’d love to make their dreams of a home together come true, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

More about this rescue

Great Divide Animal Rescue (GDAR) is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based out of North Carolina. We are run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly for the rescue, rehabilitation, and successful placement of the most needy of animals.

Our focus is to help animals of all species in need. We do so by providing services in both rescue/foster/placement of homeless pets, but we also partner with several animal control facilities.

Are you looking to help a great organization who saves animals? (primarily dogs but we have rescued even horses, pigs, donkeys, mules and kitties!) We would love to hear from you!

Are you looking to find an amazing companion to make your heart and home complete? we would LOVE to work with you to help you find that perfect match!
