Violet Ray is a 4-6 year old, 53 lb. Sheepadoodle that was fortunate to have been found by a Good Samaritan. She was extremely emaciated with matted, flea infested hair. Since joining the rescue, she has made great strides. Violet knows that food, soft beds, pets and words of affection will never be scarce again. She interacts with the other dogs in her foster home, but hasn’t been around cats. Next to mealtime, her favorite is napping in the big soft chair in the living room by her people. She’s not too fond of baths just yet, but does love the brushing that happens after. She does well in a crate for a few hours, but can also be trusted not to chew or counter surf if left outside of the crate. At night, Violet sleeps in the bedroom on her bed. She will nudge you with her nose or put both of her big paws up on the bed to let you know she really needs to go to potty. During the day, she’ll stand by the door when she needs to go out. Leash walking is a work in progress. Violet needs a forever home that is ready to show her that life will only continue to get better from here on out!
Adoption fee is: $350
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
