Meet Chico, a charming 5-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a personality to match! While he may be a bit timid at first, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his true, affectionate self. He’s a little forgetful at times and may bark when you leave the room, but it’s only because he cares so much and can’t wait to see you again.

Chico gets along well with other dogs, though he can sometimes get a bit too brave when playing with the bigger pups. He loves following them around, but we think he’d be happiest in a home with smaller dogs. When introduced to cats, he was curious and friendly, showing a calm and open demeanor.

This sweet boy has a special love for snuggling up with his favorite person, especially under the covers at night. During the day, he’s the ultimate lap dog, always eager for affection and cuddles. Chico is working on his outdoor potty training, as he was previously trained to use puppy pads. While we sometimes do use pee pads and belly bands, he’s making great progress!

Chico has only had one leash walk so far, but he did well, and we’re confident he’ll continue to improve. He can be a bit chatty at times, especially when he’s in the mood for some attention, but once you scoop him up in your arms, he’s as content as can be. With his adorable face and sweet nature, he is impossible not to fall for. One look, one snuggle, and your heart will be his forever.

Chico is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all relevant vaccinations.
