My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tom Terrific! This little survivor is a rambunctious, friendly chow hound! Tom came to Iowa from a Texas shelter with his litter mates and is now a healthy guy with a gorgeous black brindle coat and sweet little white tips on some of his toes. Tom likes to play with the others, and also to 'announce' that it's time for breakfast! He likes to play, but likes some cuddle time, too. Adopters MUST agree to neuter at the appropriate stage. These puppies received monoclonal antibodies on December 24 for parvovirus that broke shortly after their arrival, but their happy spirits helped them to not only survive but to thrive. Because his is a young puppy, children should be supervised when interacting with happy, loving Tom.

More about this rescue

At One Dog Rescue, we are changing the world for one dog at a time. We specifically focus on pulling animals who are at high risk for euthanasia, particularly in shelters that practice heart stick euthanasia. We are a 501(c)3 organization and always in need of donations to help cover veterinary and transportation costs! Since we are volunteers, we appreciate your patience, but we do try to respond to inquiries promptly. One dog at a time, we are making a difference.
