My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

What can we say about Rusty, well he is a young adult (about 2yrs old in Jan 2025) male bearded dragon.  And he has quite the teenage attitude on him.  His owners surrendered him because he was giving their family such sass that the children had become afraid of him.  He is healthy, and eats great (like most teenage boys do) but will require a special home that can handle his vibe.  He DOES NOT like to be touched, and he has issues with people invading his personal space as well.  Like all bearded dragons he will require a large set up, even bigger than usual because he's not keen on leaving his space so he needs plenty of room to roam in his enclosure.  This guy is NOT a starter pet and will need a reptile savvy person who will accept him as he is and coexist with him.

His adoption fee is $75

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
