Meet Oatmeal
Oatmeal is a kitten in foster care. He is an adorable special guy who has some special needs. Read on for more details. Fill out the adoption application at www.mynewcat.org if you might be his person.
He was found very tiny and in bad condition by the UPS guy and we think he may have sustained head trauma.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a very sweet and playful boy. His foster house has multiple cats, and he has had no problem with them. Oatmeal respected the senior cats and left them alone, and absolutely loved playing with an 11 month old kitten and a one year old cat. He is curious and friendly with new people. A friend around his age is a must!!! He loves fuzzy blankies, warm laps, toys that crinkle and jingle, enclosed cat beds, second breakfast, and chasing and snuggling his cat buddies.

Oatmeal does have some minor coordination problems— he needs a shallow plastic food dish and his kitten crunch moistened, as it helps him with eating (he struggles to pick up dry crunch and will chew the side of the bowl trying to chomp his food. Softened food allows him to take bites without the food rolling away).

He does best with a water fountain, as he accidentally dunks his face into water bowls or walks through them. He prefers toys that make noise so that he can track them, as his peripheral vision is low. Nothing can stop him, though, and he has a purr so loud his whole body vibrates. He is very affectionate and will greet you at the door when you come home, ready to be scooped up and loved.
